Cassandra has the biggest heart of anyone I know. Her dedication to the care of her fur-family is every veterinarian's dream. She goes above and beyond to do what's best for them, even when it comes to the tough decisions. She always keeps their best interests in mind. Her dedication extends toward everything she does. I could not recommend Cassandra more! Leaving my five kitties alone is always really stressful for me (not to mention stressful for them) and I had struggled to find a good petsitter in the past. When Cassandra first came over to meet the kitties, I knew I had found my sitter. My normally skittish little Abyssinian cat jumped right into her lap and stayed there. She played with all of my kitties and gave each one the individual attention that I would give them. She learned their names right off and took great notes. I could tell that Cassandra was knowledgable and experienced in caring for animals, nutritional needs (we feed raw), and giving medications. She also respected my wishes regarding emergency veterinary situations (taking them to our holistic vet first, if possible). While I was away, Cassandra sent periodic photos and text updates to my phone so that I could see how everybody was doing. I found that this really helped me to not worry at all while I was away - which is so worth it! I would recommend Cassandra to anybody looking for loving care of their cats, dogs, horses, chickens, you name it!

Cassandra took care of young Merida while I was away for a few days. Prior to my trip, Cassandra had trimmed Merida's nails and so was not Merida's favourite person. Cassandra's regular updates to me, her patience with my little fur-ball and her amazing, gentle energy meant that by the end of my four day trip, Merida not only warmed up to Cassandra but allowed for pets and belly rubs! From her professionalism, willingness to keep me in the loop while away, patience with Merida and little touches like tidying up and fresh flowers to come home to, Cassandra has definitely found her calling in caring for pets and keeping pet parents' minds at ease. I whole-heartedly recommend her to anyone considering her services!

Our dog, Aston, LOVES staying with Cassandra! We have had her stay at Cassandra's many times and we can always enjoy our vacation because we feel confident that she is taken care of. Even when Aston was on medication, we felt comfortable leaving her because we knew Cassandra would be on top of everything (sometimes we wonder how she can work such magic to trick dogs into taking pills)! An added bonus are the pictures and texts that Cassandra sends while we are away... we miss our girl and it's so nice to see how she is doing. Aston doesn't even look back when we drop her off! Once when we returned to pick Aston up, Cassandra surprised us with a few of her own professional photos. They were so great that one is framed on our wall! We would recommend Cassandra to anyone for a dog sitter... or a pet photographer!
